MONROE, Wash., August 6, 2026 – The 2026 Evergreen State Fair Food Drive has officially concluded, with community members donating enough food to provide 15,233 meals for local families in need.

Through much of June and July, donations were collected at 10 Lee Johnson Auto Family dealerships across the region and during special drive-thru events at the Evergreen State Fair Park in Monroe and the Sultan Shindig.

"Summer is one of the most challenging times of the year for food banks, as donations often decrease while the need remains high," said Christy Radford, Supervisor of the Sultan Community Food Bank. "We are running low on food, so anything is helpful for our community."

"The food banks support nearly three-quarters of a million people in Snohomish County alone," said Casey Davis, Executive Director of the Edmonds Food Bank and President of the Snohomish County Food Coalition. "Thank you for donating and supporting your community and neighbors."

In partnership with the Snohomish County Food Coalition and Lee Johnson Auto Family, community members received a 2026 Evergreen State Fair weekday admission ticket for every five food items donated.

The Evergreen State Fair is proud to work with Lee Johnson Auto Family and grateful for its continued partnership and support of this year's Food Drive. Thanks to the generosity of the community and its partners, local families will benefit from the donations collected while continuing a tradition of giving that strengthens Snohomish County.
